Nothing builds a case for your cause better than a real-life example.  As you grow and develop your community health information exchange efforts you should be on the look out for testimonials, real-life examples of how access to health information at the point of care has helped “Joe Smith”, “Mary Johnson” or the family physician “Dr. Palmer”.  Consumers that are willing to speak about the benefits of electronic access to their medical history or medication information at the right time, in the right place, are priceless.  Physicians and consumers that are willing to talk about the value and usefulness of secure electronic health information exchange and their experiences, are pure gold.
