Case Examples - urgent need, rapid records

Many people have a difficult time understanding how secure electronic health information exchange  impacts the day-to-day activities of patients and physicians in local communities.

To assist you in community outreach we have written five "real life" case examples that show use of health information exchange among physicians, patients and public health officials.  The case examples have been created to offer you support material as you educate key audiences about the use and application of secure electronic health information exchange. 

Use the case examples as handout material, as examples in your discussions with the media, and as a way to explain secure electronic health information exchange when talking to community stakeholders or local policy makers.
